So, it has been a while since I have wrote, ( I am pretty sure I say that every time I post) and I want to update everyone with where I am at in the world. As of a month ago yesterday, (not my yesterday, the literal yesterday) I started working at the library here in the good ole town of Mayo. Now for the most part, you would think that this is the perfect job for me; I am in front of books all day, I get to play with kids and yet send them back to their parents, I read, I write reviews for books, and all of this wonderful jazz. And you know what? You are right. I absolutely love it. I cannot imagine loving my job any more than I do right now. I may also have bitten more than I could chew with the amount of books that I feel I have to have. everyday it is a new one that I carry home and add to the stack as I try to finish the first one. I just get the look and the shake of the head as the women see me carry yet another book to my desk. It is beautiful and the women I work with are straight up phenomenal with a touch of crazy.
Mrs. Janice, our full time mother and absolutely wonderful conscience of the Library. She keeps all of us in line. From making sure that we eat lunch, to keeping the antics that we all create to a minor buzz. She is our web MD and the person I send all of my hilarious pinterest stuff to. She is also the person who reads me the scores for random college softball games that I know nothing about. ( yes, I did play softball for three years, but I was the girl you saw sitting on the bench and chipping nail polish off.)
Now Mrs. Cindy on the other hand, is the crazy aunt that your family puts up with. :D I cannot count how many men she has single handedly tried to set me up with, the countless amazing but terribly fattening blueberry biscuits that she has placed in front of me, and the times she has gotten me with her dry humor. Just yesterday (my yesterday not literally) she convinced me that she had bought a card just for me.. turns out she stole Mrs. Janice's.
Sometimes I am convinced they are plotting against me to marry me off and get someone new. From our tech guy, to the random men who come off the street, if there aint a ring on it, and they have all their teeth, I am being introduced. I also think it is a ploy to watch me blush. they seem to have a sick and twisted humor. ;)
with my aunt Cheryl ( who lovingly has kept a watchful eye out for me) keeping us in line and bringing all sorts of goodies to our life and the first pick of books that have just come in, life is pretty good. If anyone is worried that I am not eating, you may breathe easy. These ladies seem to try and feed me everyday. My plan is to keep this good thing going. I mean hey, why not? free food, books, and my own personal match.com, who would want to give that up? also I am going to try and keep this up. To tell about the interesting things that happen... this could mean I won't write for the next year or this could mean I actually buckle down and do it. all in all, This is my life.
